A Hansen Christmas

Ethan taking a break from opening presents and taking a sip ( which got spilt all over him and the rug :-) of Emma's Christmas hot chocolate.
Here's Beckham getting ready to open up his stocking presents for the very first time. You can see how excited he is, his eyes really show it.

Emma's family had a tradition while growing up that each child in the family each got their own box of Cereal. For all of you out there who grew up eating everything Generic, from " Billy Bobs Boocoo imitation cornpuffs" to Rooty's Round O's(AKA Cheerie-o's) know how important and special a name brand cereal in a box was as a kid. This year we each got our favorite and Emma got 2, because she is super Mom.

Here's Ethan in his new Cop Car. He loves it. It has also become his own personal drive in movie.

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!! It was one for the books for sure. We had fun with the boys doing all our traditions, and had fun adding new ones. Christmas eve day we went and delivered some gifts to our friends and neighbors, then came home and started dinner. Emma made her very first pot roast which was to die for. We shared the meal and the night with our good friends , Juan and Stephanie Collao and also with Barbara and Sarah McQuarie in our ward.
After dinner ,we took President Eyerings' idea he shared from the First Presidency devotional and incorporated Samuel the Lamanite into our Christmas Eve Nativity. Ethan was Samuel and had a blast. Each of us took a handful of balls from Ethans Ball jump pit and we threw them at him as he stood on the wall( actually he just spun around and danced in circles :-) and called us to repentence and foretold of the Birth of the Savior. We also had to remind everyone throwing the balls that " Samuel could not be hit". :-)It was a very special and memorable night.
Christmas morning Ethan was in 7th Heaven opening up all his presents. We only bought 2 things this year for the boys, but they had about 15 presents under the tree from Grandparents, cousins and friends.
We ate our Christmas breakfast and then enjoyed a 3 hour nap.
We topped the day off on skype talking to family all over the world.
Love's to ya'll
Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!

HEY! I got cereal too! What a funny tradition it seems so many of us have kept up.

I also love the drive in movie...had there been milk in my mouth it would have come up my nose. :)

So Fun, Emma!
That actually sounds almost exactly like our Christmas! Only gave the boys two presents (two to share), and the rest were from family. So FUN, and Ethan is so adorable in his car! I love your blog, girl! Hope you don't mind me coming by to see it! I've got a blog if you'd like me to invite you (it's an invite only blog). Let me know.
I just love all the pictures of the boys! So much fun!
